Conservatorship

Shiloh’s Hope, Inc. provides dignified services when appointed as conservator of the estate for financial matters. As conservator, we are committed to make reasonable decision to benefit the protected person and assure that all apparent needs are met. This includes paying reasonable charges for the support, maintenance, and education of the protected person from the protected person’s estate, in a manner suitable to the person situation in their lives and the value of their estate. As conservator, Shiloh’s Hope, Inc. must seek federal, state, or local services that the protected person is entitled to in connection with the need and desire for one’s life. Conservatorship is over one’s estate only and has no bearing ones individual rights.

Shiloh’s Hope, Inc. will provide support and assistance to families and/or agencies with the legal process of appointment. We will support individuals to remain connected with their family, community, and support systems. We will assist with managing financial matters, focusing on individual hopes and desires. We encourage independence and personal responsibility while fostering mutual respect of all team members.

Emergency Conservatorship is also available if deemed necessary by court appointment.

Other voluntary alternatives are available for financial needs including, alternative banking options, Power of Attorney, and various forms of Trust accounts.
